Workplace Ergonomic Consulting

Workplace Ergonomics Consulting

Ergonomics refers to the science of designing and arranging things people use to improve efficiency and safety at work. The primary goal for ergonomics consulting is to eliminate work-related discomfort and reduce the risk of injury. Our ergonomic certified physical therapist (Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist) will help you assess your employees’ ergonomic risks and offer solutions for injury prevention and improve work productivity.  He specializes in troubleshooting from the body complaint backward to find the likely source of the difficulty.

According to the US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), musculoskeletal disorders that develop at work are one of the leading causes of lost workday injury and illness. When proper ergonomic principles are applied, work-related injuries can be successfully reduced. This results in more comfortable and productive employees.

Our ergonomic specialist will come to your facility and evaluate your employee’s workstation setup. Recommendations will be made typically on-site. We may also be able to address questions related to simple orthopedic conditions.

The Goal of Workplace Ergonomics Consulting is to:

Assess, educate, and design a program that helps your company.  Early intervention is the key.  Addressing complaints early can prevent progression to the injury stage.
