Angela's specialty: strong abs to ward off low back pain
Angela Wu earned her first graduate degree, Master’s in Public Health, from Portland State University in 2011. She went on to earn her doctorate in physical therapy from Pacific University in 2014.

Angela’s experience in the medical field stems from working in many different clinical settings. During her undergraduate years she worked as a medical assistant. As a physical therapist she gained further experience with PT On Call, Inc. where she worked at multiple skilled nursing and outpatient facilities throughout Oregon.
During physical therapy training, Angela pursued clinical rotations with emphasis on abdominopelvic rehabilitation. She treats both men and women, specializing in treatment for unresolved back pain, weak abdominal muscles, pelvic floor weakness or pain, constipation, and urinary and sexual dysfunction. In her own words, the muscles of the abdomen, low back, and pelvis create a "basket". If one area of the "basket" is not functioning, or weak, it can often affect the other areas.
While practicing, she continued her training with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is working towards her board certification in treating pelvic health issues. Angela often uses the Herman & Wallace's Blog as a resource for her patients. Her goal is for every patient to have access to a therapist who can provide healing in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.
When Angela is not working, she enjoys quality time with her son and yoga. Angela and Timmy especially enjoy heading to parks in their jogging stroller or going for a hike in the mountains.
